Ellen Fishbein graduated from Brandeis University (B.A. 1983, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa), Duke University School of Law (J.D. 1986) and Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M. Taxation, with distinction, 1990). Her career as a lawyer has involved a variety of legal settings. She was recently a VP at Sterling Foundation Management, LLC, and spent several years at AOL Time Warner. She began her career in private practice, and now returns to it with Ellen Fishbein, Attorney at Law. She believes this firm allows her to better serve her clients and highlights her hands-on approach, honesty and accessibility.
Ellen is an avid supporter of the arts, performing in many different capacities on the board for the Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts as well as the treasurer and chairman of the finance committee for the Torpedo Factory’s Art League board of directors.
She is also an accomplished visual artist who often created acrylic murals, oil paintings, watercolor caricatures and painted furniture. Her work is now displayed around the country. She is a wife and mother of two adult children.
